Approaching festivities

To receive a book before December 25th, it is necessary to formalize the order at least 2 weeks in advance and notify the bookshop that delivery must take place before Christmas. The bookshop usually closes in August: orders placed during this period are processed as quickly as possible upon return.

Export license

Some of our books (printed 70 years or more before purchase) require an export licence to leave the country: the timing of the release of free circulation licenses is quite long, and it can take up to a month and a half to obtain the licence. Contact us for more information.

Notes Il catalogo, con testi di Pier Giovanni Castagnoli, Fabrizio D’Amico e Giulio Paolini, pubblica le fotografie di Paolo Mussat Sartor delle 30 opere esposte alla mostra. L’ordine e la modalità di presentazione delle opere riproduce quello delle sale espositive della Galleria Comunale d’Arte Moderna - Villa delle Rose di Bologna, luogo che ospitò la personale di Paolini dal 27 maggio al 29 luglio 1990. L’Hotel de l’Univers che dà il titolo alla mostra compare per la prima volta a p. 278 di “Suspense. Breve storia del vuoto in tredici stanze”: «Soltanto qualche ora fa, al risveglio, nessun buon argomento sembrava potersi dignitosamente opporre all’idea che il mio “giusto premio”, in fondo, potrebbe essere di finire i miei giorni — magari non subito, ma senza troppi indugi — in questa confortevolissima stanza (l’Hotel del l’Univers è il teatro provvisorio dal quale oggi ti recito queste righe).
